将莱西与潍坊直接相连就够了，潍坊到北京走济南与走东营差不多长时间；烟台到潍坊这条线路，还是连接莱西至潍坊就行了，北线距离反而远些，烟台人进京，卡口实际上就是以前必须绕行青岛。
烟潍高铁线以及潍津高铁线的建设，只是增加了高铁途径地区，对那些地区出行带来巨大方便，对烟台市区人出行影响不大。
